The work to offer seamless choice in showing solutions has been a top priority for Bright since early this year. Today we will announce a collaboration with California Regional MLS (CRMLS) and Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) as part of this ongoing work.
As three of the country’s largest MLSs, we’re working together to create a standard set of guidelines to simplify the real-time exchange of information between showing services, MLSs, brokerages, and other data consumers. The goal is to create an API, or program, that will allow brokers and agents to use their showing solution of choice within the MLS as seamlessly as one may book a flight or hotel room from their preferred website.
Working together, we believe we can more quickly finalize this standard and work with interested vendors to integrate into the new solution. We will continue to provide updates on timing and more information on specific vendors as this work progresses.
