Virginia REALTORS® celebrates its 2021 awardees! Each year, the association recognizes excellence in various areas of real estate, along with notable community contributions. This year’s awardees were selected by a committee of peers as standouts among an association of more than 36,000 members.

Join us in congratulating the following Virginia REALTOR®:

The Hall of Fame honors members who have made extraordinary and distinguished contributions to the real estate profession and markets in Virginia over a period of twenty-five years or more.

Jim Barb has been recognized as a renowned leader throughout his remarkable 50-year career in real estate. Beginning in 1980, he served on the Board of the Blue Ridge Association of REALTORS®, eventually serving as the association’s President in 1985. Jim later volunteered for the Virginia REALTORS® Delegate Body, which he served for several years. In addition to his achievements in real estate, Jim has demonstrated an ardent passion for community service. He served the Clarke County Board of supervisors for nearly 20 years, the Clarke County School Board for four years, and in 2002, he served on the county’s Equalization Board.
